Your Child's Play

Each day at The Lakes Nursery and Preschool is different to the last but is centred around the children’s interests, some individual and some amongst groups of friends. We support the children to extend and develop their current knowledge and understanding.

Physical Activity

We use the great outdoors every day come rain or shine. We have ample space for your child to develop their physical skills, be that by climbing through, on top of and under our climbing frame and climbing wall. Or walking up, down and through our hills and tunnel area.
We support children to develop their understanding of the world around them, through our bug hotel, sensory garden and bee and butterfly friendly plants and flowers.

Free flow to the outdoors when they choose means that the children can practice and develop their skills frequently.

Teaching & Learning

Our curriculum and resources are planned by our teaching team to teach, enthuse and create curiosity and opportunities.
Each day a range of well thought out provocations are planned for indoors and outdoors to develop the children’s skills, thinking and understanding.
